Springdale is a city in Washington and Benton counties in Arkansas. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 45,798, making it the seventh most populous city in the state. However, a special census completed in late 2005 showed the population had increased to 62,050.

The special census' results mean that Springdale is now Arkansas' fourth-largest city, behind Little Rock, Fort Smith, and Fayetteville.
